upside-down tulips bloom in Turkey’s eastern anatolia

In Muş, Turkey, nature-loving women climbed the 1,800-altitude mountain to photograph the upside-down tulips known as the “crying bride” locally, which begin to bloom on the steep mountains with the spring season. The tulips, which grow naturally in the mountains at an altitude of 1,800 in the city, began to come to light as the snow melted and the weather warmed up. Upside-down tulips have a lifespan of about 20 days, which makes people flood the mountains to see them before they disappear. The women, who reached the region by climbing the 1 kilometer path to see the tulips, photographed the unique landscape. Nature lovers, who took pictures to capture beautiful frames, relieved the stress of the day among the tulips.

Ceylan Güngör, one of the women who said that they went to the high altitude mountain to see the endemic inverted tulips in the region, said, “We climbed the mountain for about 1 hour and reached here to see these inverted tulips, which have a lifespan of 15-20 days. It was worth it because there is such a beautiful view. We got very nice photos. I wish they weren’t short lived. Our tulips are very delicate. Let’s not ask our people who want to come here and photograph the tulips, let’s not spoil our nature,” she said.
