Despite spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), many street parties were held in the US as part of the New Year celebrations. The party events that took place in New York Times Square, which has become the symbol of the New Year celebrations, this year held with increased measures against COVID-19 pandemic. During celebrations, COVID-19 vaccines and masks were required for those who want to participate in the street parties.
