US Intercepts Suspected Iran-Bound Ship in Arabian Sea

U.S. forces boarded a commercial vessel in the Arabian Sea on Tuesday as part of the ongoing naval blockade against Iran. Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit intercepted the M/V Blue Star III after suspecting the ship was attempting to reach Iranian ports. Following a thorough search, the military confirmed the vessel was not heading to Iran and allowed it to safely continue its voyage. The U.S. Central Command stated that American forces continue to actively enforce maritime restrictions across the Middle East. Since the operation began, the military has successfully redirected 39 ships to ensure strict compliance with the blockade.
