A private jet carrying 10 people, including Evgeny Prigojin, the leader of the Russian mercenary group Wagner, crashed near the Russian capital, Moscow. After the incident, it was announced that everyone, including Prigojin, had lost their lives.
Wagner leader Prigojin, who played an active role in Russia’s Ukraine War, started a rebellion against Russia on June 23, accusing the Russian army of organizing an attack on the Wagner camps. Prigojin, who demanded the resignation of Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov, withdrew the rebellion 24 hours later under the mediation of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
