The Russian Ministry of Defence announced that a Su-34 type warplane, that took off during a training exercise in Southern Military District, crashed into the ground in the Yeysk city of Russia. The plane crashed into a 9-story building, causing fire. Information on the casualties have not been given yet.
The pilot, who ejected himself from the plane before the accident, stated that one of the plane’s engines caught fire immediately after the takeoff, and that the fuel tank of the crashed plane exploded.
