Iran-Israel Conflict Crowds Türkiye-Iran Border
As Iran closes its airspace due to ongoing clashes with Israel, Iranian citizens in Türkiye are returning home by land. The Gurbulak Border Gate in Ağrı has seen a sharp rise in Iranian travelers, with long lines forming.
Passenger Sevda Mokhtari said, “No one escaped, everyone chose to return and stand against Israel.” Another returning Iranian stated, “It was not our choice to go to war, but we are not afraid.”
