A waterspout raised in the coast near the Cuban city of Cienfuegos on Saturday. No casualties were reported. At least 3 waterspouts have occurred around Cienfuegos in the last 4 months.
The effect of the waterspout, which emerges on the water and usually does not last more than 5 minutes, is weaker than those seen on land. However, it may cause major damage to the boats.
