The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that a missile was launched from Yemen towards the central region of the country.
The missile was shot down by the Israeli Air Force before it entered the country’s airspace, said the IDF.
The Israeli press reported that no serious injuries were reported due to the missile debris, but some injuries occurred during the moments of panic as sirens rang in many areas.
It is believed that the attack was carried out by the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen.
