young Ukrainians danced against war at turkish music festival

Ukrainian children who fled to Türkiye due to war prepared a special dance show for the 12th International Tulum and Kemençe Festival, held in Türkiye’s Rize. The performance of the children, who danced in response to the war in their country, was emphasized with the sounds of sirens and bombs.

“I am very scared. Our country is experiencing a lot of problems,” said Milana Savchenko, 8.

“We brought the children to Türkiye because we want them to be saved from the war. Children have the right to live without war, to have fun, and to study. Children suffer the most,” said Natalia Karaca, the teacher.

“I don’t want war; I want peace. I want to go to school and have fun in Ukraine. I love Ukraine very much,” said another young dancer, Stanislav Lukyanenko.
