“AK Youth Ski Festival” was held in the Çaldıran district of Van city, Turkey. A great number of people from all districts of Van have participated to the festival that organized at Çaldıran Thermal Ski Center by the Van Youth Branch Presidency of Turkish political party AK Party. At the festival, various treats were offered along with concerts, skiing events, folklore team plays and torch shows. After the opening speeches, the festival has started with various events. While hundreds of families attended, the children had a great time at the festival. Meanwhile, the festival witnessed colorful scenes. Thousands of people filled the ski center and danced Halay accompanied by Turkish and Kurdish songs by the local artists. After the hot meal was served, the participants have enjoyed the snow by sledding.
