Black mulberry trees alleged to have been 2000 years old are still bearing fruit. The majestic trees, located in Yozgat, Turkey, are hosting local citizens having picnic under it. The locals also use their fruits to make jam and sherbet, believing that its very beneficial.

Faruk Taşdemir, a Turkish citizen living in France says, “I visit this place every time I come. These trees are said to be about 2,000 years old. We collect their fruits and come the next day to see that they are as if they were never picked. Their black mulberry has a different aroma. We clean the mulberry juice that gets on our hands with their own leaves. These trees meet the needs of all of the locals. There are 5-6 trees here, their trunks are intertwined.”
