Palestinians in the West Bank city of Hebron clashed with Israeli forces during a show of support for those living in the Gaza Strip after Friday prayers yesterday. The Israeli soldiers shot and injured five young Palestinians with real bullets and exposed dozens to gas bombs.
During the demonstration, Palestinians chanted slogans such as “We will save you, Gaza”, “We will save you with life and blood, O Al-Aqsa,” and condemned Israel’s aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Hundreds of thousands of Iranians took to the streets after Friday prayers to protest Israel’s recent attacks on the country. The largest gatherings occurred in the capital, Tehran, where demonstrators marched following prayers at Tehran University.
High-ranking officials, including Iran’s Constitutional Court head Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei and former IRGC commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, joined the protest. Participants waved Iranian, Palestinian, and resistance group flags, and trampled on Israeli and US flags laid on the ground.
Protesters held banners reading “Down with Israel”, “Down with the US”, and “The Zionist regime will be destroyed”, while chanting slogans such as “We stand behind our leader”, “Everyone who clashed with Khamenei will eventually be destroyed”, and “Our right to nuclear weapons”.
