South Korea Floods: Death Toll Rises to 41

Heavy rains in South Korea have led to devastating floods and landslides, resulting in a steadily rising death toll that has reached 41, with 8 people still missing. The natural disaster has caused significant infrastructure damage, including train delays, road destruction, and extensive flooding of agricultural lands leading to the loss of half a million farm animals. President Yoon Suk Yeol held an emergency meeting, directing the acceleration of recovery efforts and criticizing local governments for not closing a flooded tunnel from which 14 bodies were retrieved.
