Two people died in Kazakhstan, which has been struggling with floods caused by heavy rain and melting snow. The number of evacuees rose to 72,029, with 14,368 of them being placed in temporary shelters. On the other hand, a total of 3,686 houses and 1,822 summer houses in the Atyrau, Aktobe, Akmola, Kostanay, West Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan, and Pavlodar regions were damaged by the flood waters.
