Applications for the free wood distribution program, which began last year in the suburban area of Glyfada in the south of Athens, have increased this year. “4,000 applications have already been accepted, and applications are still being accepted,” said Anna Kafka, Head of the Municipality of Glyfada’s Civil Protection Department. “The program will run throughout the winter,” she said.
