Atleast 10 killed, Dozens missing after Flood in Northern India

A devastating flood in northern India, caused by heavy rains, has resulted in 10 fatalities and 22 injuries. Shockingly, the number of missing individuals has risen from 23 to 82, with search and rescue efforts hampered by a collapsed highway. Approximately 15,000 people in the region have been affected, and at least 8 major bridges along the Teesta River have been destroyed. The India Meteorological Department has warned of ongoing heavy rains and potential landslides in Sikkim. The flood, initiated by a sudden cloudburst, led to the inundation of military vehicles and the loss of 23 soldiers.
