Canada Works on debris removal after Hurricane fiona: 1 missing

Canada has begun removing the debris from the coastal regions as 20 houses were wrecked by Hurricane Fiona. Minister of Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair said in a statement that military personnel are assigned to help wreckage removal, adding that the recovery of the critical infrastructural damage caused by the unprecedented disaster will take a few months.

The incident has not caused loss of lives. However, a citizen who went missing after the disaster is still being searched for. Hundreds of thousands of people in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, Quebec and New Brunswick are facing power outages due to Hurricane Fiona.
