Large protests continued in Iran after death of Mahsa Amini. Thousands of people staged a pro-government demonstration in Iran’s capital, Tehran. A total of 41 people have died in protests across the country so far, Iranian officials said.
Mahsa Amini, who was taken to hospital after being detained by the Irshad patrols, known as the morality police, on September 13 in Tehran, died on September 16. Amini’s death sparked violent protests in Iran.
