Çarpanak Island in Turkey dazzles with its nature

Çarpanak Island and its peninsula in the Lake Van located in Turkish city of Van, offers a beautiful view in spring with its untouched nature. While it was part of a peninsula centuries ago, Çarpanak Island became an island after the rising of the water level at Van Lake. While it’s possible to reach the island by a boat from the pier on the peninsula, tours are cautiously organized to Çarpanak Island due to the danger of deterioration of the natural life on it. There is also the Ktuts Monastery located on the island.
