Six people were killed when armed cartel members simultaneously opened fire houses, vehicles and citizens with automatic weapons in the cities of San Luis Rio Colorado and Rosario Tesopaco in Sonora, Mexico.
The state police and the security forces of the Mexican army took action on the notice. It was reported that 4 criminals were killed and many weapons were confiscated in the clash between the security forces and cartel members in the city of San Luis Rio Colorado. It was also stated that the attackers killed 2 citizens and burned 3 vehicles by the fire opened in Rosario Tesopaco. The Mexican Ministry of Defense announced that some of the attackers were arrested.
