According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office in California, USA, the total death toll in the ongoing wildfires in the state has risen to 11. The death toll is expected to increase as all affected areas are reached, said authorities.
Local authorities reported that the Palisades fire, which reduced more than 20,000 acres to ashes, was brought under control by 8 percent, and the Eaton fire, which reduced more than 14 thousand acres to ashes, was brought under control by 3 percent.
More than 12,000 structures were rendered unusable in the fires and over 300,000 people were issued evacuation warnings.
