A Dogo Argentino that entered a primary school in the village of Shiroke, in the town of Suhareka, north of the city of Prizren, in Kosovo at around 09:50 local time yesterday attacked students on the garden and inside the school building, injuring 4.
Kosovo police said an 8-year-old girl with serious head injuries and another student were taken to hospitals, while two other students survived the incident with minor injuries.
The dog, suspected to be rabid, was shot and neutralized by a police officer and the dog’s owner was detained on charges of endangering public safety.
