Heavy rains led to flooding in the streets of the Serik district of Türkiye’s Antalya. The rain waters flooded some houses on the ground floor and stranded vehicles on the roads, where tow trucks were dispatched for rescue.
“The manhole overflowed and flooded my house. I was inside and couldn’t get out. There was nothing left in the house, neither a rug nor a mattress. They were all submerged underwater. A puddle of 70 centimeters formed inside the house,” said Yalçın Bodur, a local.
