A major fire broke out in an electric scooter showroom in Secunderabad, Telangana, India. So far, 8 people have died in the accident due to the fire, and several have been injured. Most of the deaths were due to suffocation in the smoke. Some people saved their lives by jumping from the building. The fire broke out due to a short circuit when an electric bike was being charged.
PM Narendra Modi expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
