Ukraine’s Zelensky says 6,000 km2 reclaimed from Russians

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reminded that 200 days have passed since Russia’s attacks, again accusing Russia of being a terrorist state. Arguing that no state in history did what Russia did, Zelensky talked about what happened around the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and said, “There is radiation terror at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. Russian provocations and the bombing of the plant’s lands brought Ukraine and all of Europe to the brink of a radiation disaster. The country is suffering from the dramatic increase in the prices of energy resources, electricity and heating. Russia is deliberately destabilizing the gas market in Europe. Fortunately, together with our partners, the United Nations and Turkey, we were able to launch a grain export initiative. Russia had to lift the blockade of our ports. But now it threatens the blockade again,” he said.

Stating that the Ukrainian army has launched offensives to reclaim the lost lands since the beginning of September, Zelensky said, “Our soldiers have liberated more than 6,000 square kilometers in the east and south of the Ukrainian territory from the beginning of September until today. The operations of our troops continue.”
