In the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza, Israel recently announced the opening of a sea aid corridor to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The first aid shipment, organized by the Spanish NGO Open Arms and funded by the UAE through the US-based World Central Kitchen, is set to deliver 200 tons of essential supplies, including flour, rice, and protein. Departing from the Larnaca port in Southern Cyprus, the ship overcame technical delays and is expected to reach a WCK-built pier south of Gaza City.
