Fodder left on the snow-covered mountains for wild animals in Turkey

The 6th Regional Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks carried out drone-assisted hunting protection and wildlife feeding activities in Burdur city of Turkey, after the snowfall being effective especially in high altitude regions in the New Year. With the participation of Burdur Branch Office and Regional Directorate’s Hunting Protection teams together with Deputy Regional Director Uğur Altındal and Hunting and Wildlife Branch Manager Tamer Yılmaz, both inspection and feeding activities were carried out in the Yeşilova district, Eşeler Plateau Tınaz Tepe region. While no cases against the Land Hunting Law were detected during the inspections, feeding activities were carried out with 500 kg of straw and 250 kg of wheat for wild animals in snowy regions.
