Forest fire breaks out in southwest France

Another forest fire outbreak In Gironde, where the largest fire outbreaks take place in France, caused 6,000 hectares of land and 16 houses to burn. 6,000 people are evacuated.

The Gironde governor stated that 500 fire fighter worked on extinguishing the fire. It is also stated that fire spread to the near city Landes and 6,000 of people in Hostens, Saint-Magne and Belin-Beliet are evacuated. “The fire destroyed 16 houses in the area but nobody is injured.” stated the governor. It is considered that the fire causing 6,000 hectares of land to burn resulted from the wildfire broke out in Landiras during July.

The fire broke out on July caused more than 20 thousands hectares of land to burn and nearly 40 thousands people to evacuate.
