Palestinians Hold Mass Funeral for 105 Killed in Israeli Attacks

A mass funeral was held in the Gaza Strip for 105 Palestinians, including 47 children and 32 women, whose bodies were recently recovered from the rubble of the Al-Taj Tower. Civil Defense teams spent 17 days extracting the remains of multiple families, a grueling process heavily delayed by severe shortages of machinery and fuel. Authorities warn that more than 8,000 bodies are still believed to be trapped beneath debris across the enclave. Meanwhile, despite an October 2025 ceasefire agreement, deadly Israeli military strikes have continued to hit the region. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the ongoing violence has now pushed the total death toll since October 2023 to nearly 75,000.
