heavy rainfalls revives nature in türkiye’s yozgat

Due to the intermittent rains that fell throughout May and the first two weeks of June, the forests of Türkiye’s Yozgat province revived again. In the Akdağmadeni forests, which have the largest forest area as a single block in the Central Anatolia Region, various tree and plant species have created fabulous landscapes.

“Kırkikindi rains (rainfalls that occur at the beginning of summers and winters) started in April and ended in mid-May. It rained tremendously this year, and the rainfalls caused crops to grow bigger and plants to mold. I’m 45 years old, and I’ve never seen such a landscape that resembles the Black Sea region,” said a local farmer named Lokman Atıl.
