The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps published a statement on the terrorist attack carried out on the 4th death anniversary of Qassem Soleimani. Assuming that the attack aimed to take revenge on the young Iranian generation who support Soleimani and to create a chaotic atmosphere in the country, the statement expressed that the enemies’ intentions would not break the Soleimani supporters.
“The cowardly enemy should know that the fire lit by Qassem Soleimani in our hearts has revealed a strong spirit of resistance and unity to resist and fight against the enemies of Islam. This fire will never dim down and will disrupt the enemy’s evil intentions and plans more powerfully than yesterday,” included the statement.
The Iran Emergency Center stated that the number of deaths rose to 84 and that there were 284 injured.
