A highschool tudents in Istanbul showed solidarity with Palestine through a striking flag choreography performed in their schoolyard. Around 50 students merged the Palestinian flag with coordinated movements. Their support was vocalized through posters highlighting tragic statistics with, “6 children killed every hour” and “63 press members lost.”
Principal Fatih Keleş emphasized their heartfelt connection to Palestine, citing Israel’s actions in Gaza and Palestine as the catalyst for their solidarity. The school organized several activities, including fundraising campaigns, charity events, and redirecting canteen earnings to Gaza. The collected aid was recently handed over to the Red Crescent. Beyond financial support, the school conducted awareness programs within the campus and surrounding areas, fostering understanding among students about the ongoing situation in Palestine.
