Several buildings were buried in the ground in the Kullu region due to the landslides that occurred after heavy rains in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. A large number of search and rescue teams were directed to the area, as there might be people in the building. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in Himachal Pradesh, where heavy rains will continue for two days.
Earlier this month, landslides killed 50 people and severely damaged roads and houses in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
