A massive fire broke out in a business center in Kerman, Iran. The fire was extinguished by firefighters shortly after the incident erupted, and no casualties were reported, a local official stated. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The death toll from the devastating floods in Texas has risen to 104, with dozens still missing. The disaster, which struck last Friday, hit the Kerr County area hardest, particularly the riverside city of Kerrville and the Texas Hill Country region known as “flood alley.”
At least 28 children were among the 84 victims confirmed dead in Kerr County. A tragic incident occurred at “Camp Mystic,” where 27 camp girls and a counselor lost their lives. Search operations continue for 10 missing from the camp.
Additional fatalities were reported across neighboring counties: 7 dead and 10 missing in Travis, 4 dead and 2 missing in Burnet, 6 dead in Kendall, 2 dead and 1 missing in Williamson, and 1 death in Tom Green County. Authorities continue search and rescue efforts across the region.
