Mexico and US seize 2.4 tons of cocaine and arrest 10 in joint operation

Mexican and US teams seized 2,400 kg of cocaine and 3,512 liters of contraband fuel in three boats off Chiapas state. Ten people were arrested for drug smuggling. One boat with 1,500 kg of cocaine and four people was caught near Chiapas Port. Another two boats with 900 kg of cocaine and 3,512 liters of smuggled fuel were seized on Feb 21. The operations were based on intelligence and involved air, land, and sea teams. The 10 arrested individuals were handed over to the Mexican Chief Public Prosecutor.
