On the 12th day of the earthquakes, their epicenter being Kahramanmaraş in Türkiye, 3 people were rescued in Hatay 261 hours later. While 12-year-old Osman Halebiye was being pulled from under a collapsed building, Mustafa Avcı and Mehmet Ali Şakiroğlu were rescued from the rubble of a private hospital. One of the earthquake survivors, Mustafa Avcı, thanked the rescue teams after they had successfully saved him.
The earthquake victims were taken to the hospital and their health conditions were reportedly good.
