A passenger bus traveling from Aden to Taiz in Yemen overturned after its brakes failed and went off the road. 16 people, including 2 children, lost their lives, and 3 people were injured, 1 seriously.
The committee that oversees the maintenance of the Karba Al-Sahi road, where the accident took place, reported that there were approximately 114 traffic accidents on the road in the first half of 2024, and 9 people lost their lives.
