Following devastating earthquakes in Hatay, Türkiye, rapid relief and recovery efforts are in progress. The Mass Housing Development Administration, known as TOKI, has launched an initiative to construct 821 houses for those affected by the earthquakes in the district of Payas. Local journalist, Ferit Savaş, commends the speed and efficiency of the ongoing construction efforts, and anticipates the homes to be ready for inhabitants by the end of the year. Existing residents, like Elif Atabey, express gratitude for these relentless efforts and pray for the non-recurrence of such a disaster.
