silent strike in myanmar leaves streets empty

In response to the call by anti-coup groups, a silent strike was held to protest the military coup that took place in the country in 2019. The protest took place between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. local time today, and the streets of Myanmar were empty as everyone stayed at home.
