Spanish PM Thanks Gaza Youth for Mural

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has expressed profound gratitude to Palestinian youth who painted his portrait on the wall of a heavily damaged building in the Gaza Strip. The mural, which also features Spanish and Palestinian flags, was created to honor his critical stance on the ongoing conflict. In a social media video sharing the artwork, a young Palestinian named Layan stated, “I wholeheartedly hope this image reaches the Spanish Prime Minister and all the Spanish people.” Touched by the gesture, Sanchez released a video response assuring families in Gaza that “the Spanish people hear you, see you, love you, and have not forgotten you.” He concluded by sharing his hope that Palestinian children will soon be able to paint safely in their schools and enjoy a peaceful future.
