Sweeping autumn leaves gets banned in Tokat city of Turkey

In accordance with the instruction of the Tokat Mayor, Eyüp Eroğlu, sweeping autumn leaves has been prohibited in order preserve the natural view in the city. Following the unusual instruction, the fallen leaves created a lovely scenery that residents of the city enjoyed very much.

Having been satisfied with the decision taken, a retired civil servant, Dursun Ali Harputlu, said “These leaves create beauty on the ground as they do on branches. Don’t disfavor us for aging and don’t disfavor them for falling. They should be loved when they turn yellow, just as they were loved for their greenery.”

The beautiful view will be preserved until the end of November.
