An 18-year-old Palestinian was killed and 5 injured during a raid by the Israeli army in Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
It was reported that Mahmoud Saadi, who was shot, had injuries on his abdomen and died in the Jenin State Hospital. The other casualties are being treated at Ibn Sina Hospital and their condition is good.
Israel Defense Forces stated that Athb al-Bali, whose house in the Al Hadaf district in the city was raided, was taken into custody.
Egyptian media reports that ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel in Gaza, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, are set to resume next week. Israel is awaiting Hamas’s response to the ceasefire offer.
Israeli and US delegations, who were in Doha for negotiations, have returned home for consultations. The current agreement being discussed includes the exchange of hostages and prisoners, with plans for further talks on a permanent ceasefire and the release of additional hostages.
