Türkiye has launched one of its largest maritime operations, the Sea Wolf-II/2026 Exercise, mobilizing 18,000 personnel, 125 ships, and 60 aircraft across its four surrounding seas. Marking a historic first for the Turkish Naval Forces, the massive drill featured the simultaneous firing of eight guided missiles and a torpedo during an intense live-action display. Top military commanders and international attachés gathered in the Gulf of Antalya to witness complex combat scenarios ranging from anti-submarine warfare and mine disposal to rapid medical evacuations. The comprehensive exercises also successfully tested advanced defense technology, including ATMACA missiles, AKYA torpedoes, and cutting-edge drone systems, in a powerful demonstration of the nation’s combat readiness.
