Türkiye Showcases Tech Startups at Paris VivaTech Summit

Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır is currently in Paris to support 26 domestic startups at VivaTech 2026, one of Europe’s premier technology and entrepreneurship events. Fourteen of these participating companies are part of the “Turcorn 100” program, an initiative designed to foster future Turkish tech unicorns valued at over a billion dollars. Speaking at the Turkish Pavilion, Kacır highlighted the country’s booming innovation ecosystem, which currently hosts over 13,000 startups across 114 technoparks. He reaffirmed the government’s ambitious goal to expand this number to 100,000 established tech companies by the year 2030. Ultimately, Kacır emphasized Türkiye’s ongoing commitment to developing competitive, homegrown technologies and successfully introducing them to the global market.
