The Ukrainian Air Force targeted the Russian landing ship “Novocherkassk” with cruise missiles during an air attack near Feodosia’s coast, occurring at approximately 02:30 local time. Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk acknowledged the diminishing Russian fleet, crediting Air Force pilots and all involved in the operation.
One person lost their life in the attack, with two others injured, according to Crimea Governor Sergey Aksyonov. The assault sparked a fire at the town’s port, swiftly brought under control, prompting emergency services’ deployment and the evacuation of numerous residences.
The Russian Ministry of Defense corroborated the incident, confirming damage to the ship.
