A fire at a hotel in Kartalkaya Ski Resort, a major tourist destination in Türkiye, killed 10 people and injured 32 others, according to initial reports. The blaze, which began in the restaurant section quickly spread due to the wooden structure of the building. The hotel was fully booked with 234 guests during the mid-term holiday.
Emergency services, including health and fire teams, responded to the scene. A field hospital was set up, and gendarmerie teams are assisting. Rescue and recovery operations continue.
