Trump Implements Radical Policy Changes in Second Term

Donald Trump, sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, began his second term with significant policy shifts through executive orders, undoing major decisions from the previous administration.

Trump declared a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border, allocating defense resources to enhance border security and complete the wall. He stated, “America’s sovereignty is under attack.” He withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement, reinstated Cuba as a State Sponsor of Terrorism, and ended birthright citizenship. He also disbanded the task force that reunited migrant families.

Nearly 1,500 individuals linked to the January 6 Capitol storming were pardoned. Trump also announced the U.S. withdrawal from the World Health Organization, criticizing its handling of the pandemic.

Tariffs on imports from Canada, Mexico, and China were reinstated, while tougher measures against illegal immigration and drug cartels were introduced.

Trump stated, “America’s strong era is beginning,” highlighting his administration’s focus on sovereignty and economic independence.
