Houthis Claim Shooting Down Saudi F-15 Jet

Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s Houthi movement, claimed that the group shot down a Saudi Arabian F-15 fighter jet over Marib province using a locally produced missile. According to Saree, a follow-up operation forced two additional Saudi warplanes searching for the wreckage to retreat from the area. The spokesman also rejected allegations regarding threats to holy sites, maintaining that Houthi targets are strictly military bases and oil facilities. Denying the accusations, Saree declared, “The slanders and lies spread by the Saudi Al Saud regime that we are targeting Mecca cannot deceive anyone.”
