Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa committed a major blunder in parliament while attempting to deny genocide allegations against Israel. Trying to downplay the conflict, Jansa held up an image and stated, “This is Sudan, there are piles of corpses. Far more than what you see in Gaza.” However, it was quickly revealed that the photograph he described as “slaughtered Christians” was actually taken in Gaza. British Marine David McIntosh, who captured the image during a 2025 humanitarian mission, clarified that it showed Palestinians trying to secure food for their starving families. McIntosh further contradicted the Prime Minister’s narrative by accusing the Israeli army of firing on both civilians and aid workers near those exact locations.
